Next Generation Contact Center - Conference Report

On 27 May 2010 a conference "Next Generation Contact Center - Internet, Voice & Video in customer service." was held in Warsaw.
Our Company, in conjunction with Dialogic Corporation - a global provider of technology for the construction of modern contact center solutions, was the sponsor of this event.
The title lecture " Next Generation Contact Center – Internet, Voice & Video" was delivered by consultants from Proceo company - Raphael Hoffmann and Beata Jarosz, who shared their knowledge about the business role of contact center systems, indicating, inter alia, the results of interesting research on new areas of communication in marketing and tools and channels supporting sales.
Among the speakers was also Dr. Emil Ślązak - a lecturer from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), who characterized the current evolution trends of electronic forms of communication with the customer on the example of the banking sector.
During the conference, participants had also the opportunity to listen to two lectures presented by Altar Company employees. Michał Chojnacki spoke about Mobile Video Services - the use of modern technologies in mobile communications with the client. The lecture included a demonstration of a live video call with the use of a 3 G phone to show the possibilities of the new communication channel; Krzysztof Palacz - member of the Altar Board presented revolutionary changes that have taken place in the CC systems in recent years, with particular emphasis on the dispersal of call center systems and their virtualization.
Another lecturer was also Marjan Torkar, Dialogic Corporation, who presented innovative products and tools to implement video applications in companies from different sectors of the economy.
The lectures attracted considerable interest. The participants highly appreciated the merit of the lectures and the organization of the conference.
