Mobile Video Banking
Our company was a partner at the conference "Man and technology in the process of optimization and extension of security in Contact Center", which took place on 8 June 2010 in Warsaw at the Marriott Hotel. The event was organized by the Council for Electronic Banking of the Polish Bank Association and RENER company.
The conference was attended by numerous representatives of the banking, financial, telecommunications sectors and other organizations for which the telephone channel is a key element of the wide field of customer service.
During the conference Michał Chojnacki, a representative of our Company, gave a lecture on "IVVR as a new channel of contact with a bank client." The speaker demonstrated the potential of the Altar Interactive Voice and Video Response platform (IVVR) which provides an innovative channel of contact with the bank customer bank using the possibility of video transmission in the GSM 3G technology. During the lecture participants had the opportunity to watch the Mobile Video Banking service in action in a live video conversation.
In the breaks the conference participants exchanged views and frequently visited the Altar stand located in the vicinity of the conference hall.
After lunch was a panel discussion was held on issues raised at the various lectures.
"The use of the Altar IVVR application in the bank customer service is a friendly and confidence-inspiring solution. A number of indicators and market research show that people are skeptical about using only self-service IVRs. With the Altar IVVR using the video channel customers have a direct and speedy access to the information they are interested in selecting the options from the phone on-screen menu," said Filip Piotrowski, Altar's Key Account Manager, in the discussion.
